Who Are Young Adults?

Young Adults are everywhere. We are your neighbors, your friends, the waiters and waitresses serving you at restaurants, the police officers and firefighters protecting you, we are doctors, lawyers, electricians, engineers, paramedics, secretaries, the singers and preachers who minister to you, the people who ride the train with you to work or the people who drive next to you on the highway. We are young, we are professionals, we are entrepreneurs, single, married, dating, engaged, in love or wanting to be in love, on our own, discovering life and embracing all that life has to offer. We are, driven, we are spiritual, we are practical, we are real and we are here.

So the question is:

Where do you fit in?

As we officially launch the NEC Young Adult Ministry, we want you to share your gifts, your ideas, your insight and state your needs on a social, spiritual and practical level. We want to be real about what is going on in our lives, real about who we are and where we are socially, spiritually and professionally, develop practical events, solutions as well as networking opportunities that will be beneficial on numerous levels. So share your thoughts, join the movement and make a difference. We are about purpose, about practicality genuine relationships with each, with God and with our community. Young Adults’ voices need to be heard.
